Veterinarians

Dr. Murrell worked in the Amish region of Middlefield Ohio treating a variety of country pets and farm animals during her first 2 years of practice. After meeting her husband, Steve, they felt the lure of Texas and moved back home in the Spring of 2002. Dr. Murrell practiced small animal medicine at Pet Vet Animal Hospitals and worked as a relief veterinarian in the north Houston area before joining Dr. McCall at Enchanted Oaks Animal Hospital in 2006.
When not working at Enchanted Oaks Animal Hospital, Dr. Murrell can be found enjoying family time with her three children and her many animals: dogs Wolfie and Jedi; cats Pippen and Meri, Yurtle the African tortoise, Diesel the bearded dragon, Carmel and Frappy the sugar gliders and last but not least, a gecko named Peek. She also enjoys camping, biking and attending church faithfully.

I attended Kansas State University—go Wildcats! My enthusiasm for surgery played a significant role in making it through vet school.
Currently, I have a diverse group of pets: three cats named Bastet, Freyja, and Lucifer; a leopard gecko named Mikasa; a chameleon named Matcha; and a tarantula named Gwen.
Traveling is a favorite hobby of mine, primarily because I enjoy trying different kinds of foods from various places—I'm a foodie at heart, with sights being a secondary interest. An interesting fact about me, I can solve a Rubik's cube in an average of 25 seconds, with my fastest solve being 12 seconds.
